The book also discusses the place of Shia'ism as a sect and attempts to expose and refute their claims. ==Shi'te Views== Ibn Hajar Al-Haytami Al-Makki's al-Sawa'iq al-Muhriqah (literally 'Loud/Frightening Lightning') is deeply critical against Shi'tes as a sect and their views and beliefs. The title itself is termed to be as a sign of the scathing attack on them. Later Shi'ite scholars, most notable from the Islamic Schools of Lucknow, India and Qom, Iran refuted the claims of al-Sawa'iq al-Muhriqah in their texts and books.
